The Facts About Our Board

Learn about the positive changes and transparent governance our current board members have brought to Redmond Ridge.

A Critical Moment for Our Community

On Thursday, August 28th at 6:00 PM, Redmond Ridge residents will vote on whether to recall three of our most dedicated board members — Manjari Kishore, Ashutosh Gupta, and Basant Agrawal.

This recall is not about misconduct or breach of trust. It is about resistance to change, misinformation, and personality disputes. If successful, it risks undoing the progress in financial discipline, transparency, and stability that these directors have fought to build.

Why We Say NO to the Recall

Our board members are not politicians. They are your neighbors, parents, and professionals — balancing full-time jobs, families, and community responsibilities. When ROA staff went on extended leave, these directors personally stepped up, working 7–10 hours a day, including weekends, to keep operations running. They did the work of four full-time employees while still serving their families and day jobs.

Instead of accepting status quo budgets of $1.5 million without scrutiny (as past boards did), they rolled up their sleeves. They reviewed invoices line by line, documented processes, created operating manuals, and implemented controls that will save our community $750,000–$1,125,000 over the next five years.

Their Achievements

Financial Responsibility: Stronger controls, transparent reporting, and significant projected savings.
Operational Improvements: Outdated systems modernized, saving $50,000 over five years.
Community First: Better vendor accountability, including addressing past landscaping failures.
Staffing Stability: Rebuilt office capacity by hiring a Compliance Manager, Office Administrator, and Communications Associate.

What’s at Stake if Recall Succeeds

  • Disrupted Progress: Ongoing reforms and improvements will stall.
  • Back to Old Ways: A return to the past where one staff member submitted, reviewed, and signed all checks without oversight — no processes, no continuity, no accountability.
  • Higher Costs: Without the new controls and savings measures, community expenses will rise.
  • Weaker Governance: Sets a precedent that reformers can be removed simply for asking hard questions.

The Truth Matters

Rumors and mudslinging have been used to discredit these board members. The facts tell a different story:

  • Fact: Board meetings remain open, minutes are published, and finances are transparent.
  • Fact: Residents’ concerns are heard through town halls, newsletters, and direct responses.
  • Fact: The board has uncovered inefficiencies and corrected them for long-term savings.

Through months of misinformation, these leaders have chosen dignity and hard work over trading insults. That alone says much about their character.

Your Voice Matters

This recall is not just about three individuals. It’s about whether we allow the voices of accountability and change to be silenced. These board members stepped up in a crisis, challenged the old ways, and demanded oversight where none existed before.

The question before us is simple:

Will we kill the messenger — the very harbingers of change who put transparency and accountability first — or will we stand with them to protect our community’s progress?

The choice is clear: Support proven leadership, reject misinformation, and vote NO on the recall.
